Cleaning and Storage
-
Wash devices with antibacterial, castile, or dish soap before first use and after each use. Sanitize silicone equipment in boiling water for 2-3 minutes if desired. Do not boil any plastic or nylon parts, only silicone. Clean tubing, valves, and bulbs with alcohol.
-
Store in a clean, dry place away from chemicals, moisture, and sharp objects. Do not use the device if punctured or damaged.
-
Keep the gripper flipped to the “down” position to minimize stress during storage.
Precautions and Experience
-
Apply to clean, dry, skin only. Do not apply to broken or irritated skin. Excessive use of creams can cause the device to slip. Bacteria can cause health issues including urinary tract infection or rash.
-
‘Stretching’ or ‘creeping’ sensations are normal - pain is not. Discontinue use IMMEDIATELY and take a break for several hours if experiencing pain.
-
Taking periodic breaks allows skin to rest and heal from stretching. Pay attention to your body and take an hour-long break every few hours while restoring.
-
Positive air pressure in the foreskin can cause bacteria to enter the urethral meatus (aka “pee hole”) causing a urinary tract infection. Use medical tape across the glans of the penis to keep the opening shut.
